My approach

I specialize in complex trauma: the kind that accumulates over years rather than arriving in a single event. Much of what brings people to therapy is actually a collection of protective strategies that made sense once and have outlived their usefulness. IFS gives us a way to work with those parts directly, without pathologizing them. I'm not interested in symptom management as an endpoint. I want to understand what's underneath, and I find that most clients do too, once it feels safe enough to look.

Who I work with

Primarily adults navigating the aftermath of childhood trauma, relational abuse, or chronic neglect. I also work with people who don't have a clear trauma history but feel stuck in patterns they can't explain: over-functioning, emotional numbness, difficulty trusting. If you've tried other approaches and felt like something was missing, IFS might be a good fit. I offer a free 20-minute consultation to see if we're a match.
