My background

I have over 10 years of experience in social work, and I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges, transitions, and moments of uncertainty. My work has particularly focused on older adults, grief and loss, caregiving, and the complex emotions that accompany significant life changes. These experiences have shaped my belief that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and empowered to navigate their own path.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and person-centered and humanistic principles. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, clarify what matters most to you, and discover your own strengths and possibilities. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is not to tell you who to be or what choices to make, but to walk alongside you as you identify your goals and determine what healing and meaningful change look like for you.

Who I work with

I work with adults and older adults navigating life’s transitions, including grief, loss, aging, and the many changes that shape our lives and relationships. I also support caregivers and family members who may be balancing the emotional demands of caring for a loved one while trying to care for themselves. You may be seeking support after the death of someone you love, adjusting to changes in your own health or independence, navigating a new stage of life, or feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities and uncertainty.

I welcome individuals who are looking for a space to process their experiences, reconnect with their values, and explore what matters most to them. Whether you are grieving, feeling stuck, navigating changes, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where your experiences, choices, and autonomy are honored. I believe there is no single right way to navigate loss or life’s transitions. My goal is to meet you where you are, honor your unique story, and support you in finding your own path forward.

My values

I truly believe that every person deserves to be met with dignity, compassion, and respect. I value the uniqueness of each person's story and recognize that our experiences, relationships, culture, and life circumstances shape how we navigate the world. I value meeting people where they are, honoring the strength it takes to seek support, and creating a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and genuine respect for your individual journey. Autonomy and self-determination are central to my work, and I believe you are the expert in your own life, and I respect your right to make decisions that align with your values, needs, and hopes. I strive to create a space where you can be honest about your experiences, express difficult emotions, and feel accepted without judgment. You do not need to have the right words or know where to begin to be welcomed here.
