I firmly believe that you already possess the innate ability to heal, grow, and break old patterns—you simply need the space and the tools to do so. My approach is deeply collaborative, experiential, and relational. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), emotion-focused (EFT), and attachment-based lenses to help you build true somatic safety, cultivate fierce self-empathy, and foster a secure internal attachment.
In our sessions, I won't offer rigid checklists or passive lectures. Instead, I will invite you to notice how you relate to me in the room, how you relate to yourself, and how you carry old wounds in your body.
I love working with artists, and intuitive and creative people who are interested in “going deep” in therapy. They might feel that something has been missing when they’ve tried therapy before and are interested in something more experiential.
Many of my clients grew up having to hold their emotions alone — often because they were parentified or learned early that their feelings were too much. They struggle with vulnerability, self-worth, and trusting themselves in relationships. They want deeper connection, but they've spent so long protecting themselves that they don't know how to let people in. I help them slow down, drop below the surface, and finally feel what they've been running from. Many of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+, and are neurodivergent.
I spend a lot of my free time going on outdoor adventures with my dogs and playing music with friends. While music is my primary creative outlet, I love learning new crafts; lately, I've been into ceramics, knitting, and semi-successfully trying my hand at gardening. I am also an astrology and tarot enthusiast, and love exploring how they can be used as therapeutic tools!
Mahalia will get back to you to set up a first conversation.
