Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding the right person to work with matters. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can slow down, explore what you're experiencing, and develop tools that help you move forward. I don't believe therapy is about "fixing" you. It's about creating space to understand yourself more deeply, strengthen your relationship with yourself and others, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters to you.
Whether you're going through a difficult transition or simply feel ready for change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you through the process. Reaching out can be the hardest part, and you don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.
My approach draws on several modalities, including Humanistic/Existential Therapy, which emphasizes your personal growth, your unique experience, and your search for meaning or contentment. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and DBT to provide an evidence-based approach that can provide relief for a variety of psychological concerns.
I'm a Professional Counselor Associate and have been working in the mental health field for over 6 years in a variety of settings, including inpatient facilities, working with teens and families struggling with mental illness. I facilitate group therapy sessions weekly for men struggling with anger. I've started a private practice in 2026 and see individual clients.
Matthew will get back to you to set up a first conversation.
